The most digitized process today is the processing of bank transactions. 61% of this has been (fully) digitized via a link between the bank's system and the own accounting system. There is a big difference between SMEs and large companies. In SMEs, slightly more than half (56%) of bank transactions are fully digitized; in large companies no less than 85% of these processes have been fully digitized.
The least digitized process is that of expense claims .Only in 23% of the companies are expense reports digital. In SMEs this is 16% lower than in large companies (55%). This will not change for SMEs in the near future either. Of the companies that have not yet digitized this process, one in ten SMEs (11%) is expected to digitize the expense report flow.
